Komala Bakery' is a Partnership firm having four partners. The firm was founded by Late Mr K K Narayanan. He started the business in the year 1960- as a Tea Master grew up to owner of a tea shop in Kunnamkulam originated from Calicut. From Tea shop owner he became a hotel owner by occupying the municipal premises in the year 1970 and grew up consis- tently and started expanding his business skills, to set up a bakery and start- ed manufacturing bakery products also. He then started bakery outlet along with the hotel business. He learnt baking and frying technology and started implementing his capacities to manufacture multiple products and added his own products like banana chips, mixture, Indian sweets etc to his bakery outlet. Business grew to multiple folds and stood alone and gained good name in the market and his cliental grew massively then he thought he should open a quality Restaurant. Then came, The Komala Bakery and Restaurant, on Guruvayur road in his own land. He has acquired properties for his living and for manufacturing Products. Today he owns his residential house, Factory for manufacturing Bakery products, Cake Production plant, four Bakery Outlet and hotels in various parts of Kunnamkulam. This is the outlet on Pattambi highway named as KOMALA'S DOSA WORLD AND BAKERY.Now the business is run by his Son and 3 Daughters. The younger generation has taken over the business and now this is the 49th Successful year. After the next generation taking over the business, the business has grown to 4times. The turnover now is more than 20 Cr per year. More than 150 employees are currently working in the firm. South Indian Bank is the primary bank of the firm, availed Bank Overdraft facility from the bank.
